Cairns Arborist Solutions is a referral website for tree work in Cairns and the northern beaches. When you call or send the form, we pass your job to an independent local arborist or tree contractor who covers your area. They visit, give you a written quote, and if you go ahead, they do the work and you deal with them directly.
Why a referral service
Finding a tree contractor in Cairns is often easy right up until you need one. Before the wet and straight after a storm, the good crews are busy and the phone rings out. We keep in touch with contractors across the city, the beaches and the southern corridor, so an enquiry can go to someone who covers your suburb and does the kind of work you need, whether that is a palm clean in Palm Cove or a big fig in Edge Hill.
What we ask of the contractors
- A site visit before a price is given on anything but the simplest job.
- A written quote that names what is cut, the method, the stump, the green waste and the clean-up.
- Pruning back to sound growth points rather than lopping to stubs.
- Respect for council rules, power line safety and neighbours.
- Holding the licences and insurance the job needs. Ask to see them before work starts.
What we will not do
We will not tell you that you need a tree removed when a reduction would do, and we will not publish reviews, ratings or claims we cannot back up. The information on this site is general. Where council, state or energy network rules apply, we name the body and suggest you check with them directly.
